All products ordered from Daprano & Company are covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. If you or your gift recipient are not completely satisfied with the quality of the delivered product, or it is in any way damaged prior to receipt, it will be replaced.
Substitutions may be necessary to ensure your arrangement is delivered in a timely manner. The utmost care and attention is given to your order to ensure that it is as similar as possible to the requested item.
If you or your gift recipient are unhappy with an item please contact our Customer Service department. Include your order number, name, phone number, e-mail address and description of the problem in the text of your message. Problems must be reported to us within one week of shipment receipt in order for the guarantee to be valid. One of our customer service representatives will contact you within one business day. We will work with you to rectify the situation.
If your order arrives damaged, we will send a replacement or issue a refund for the gift cost (excluding shipping charges). All packaging should be kept in case the shipping company needs to inspect the package.
If your order arrives late due to a shipping company delay, you will be credited for shipping charges. This does NOT apply to delays due to weather or delivery attempts that are unsuccessful.
Orders sent to a wrong or incomplete address are not guaranteed. Additional fees apply to fix and forward the package to the correct address.
Orders received by 12pm EST Monday-Friday, will ship via FedEx or UPS same day unless you choose otherwise. Orders received after 12pm EST, Monday-Friday, weekends or holidays, will ship the following business day.
A surcharge will apply for all Saturday deliveries.
How do you ship?
We use FedEx or UPS, at our discretion, for all shipments.
Why is shipping rather expensive?
Shipping charges are based upon the size of the shipping box (not the weight) and the speed at which it is delivered, one or two-day air. The rates we charge are based on the actual air shipping rates that our carriers charge.
If I use 2 Day or 3 Day Express shipping, is there a chance it will get there in one day?
FedEx can, at its discretion, deliver a day early. Sometimes customers love this, and sometimes they hate it. If you want it to arrive precisely on an important date, i.e., birthdays, anniversaries, etc., then please be advised that sometimes your order will arrive early.
To be absolutely certain that it won’t arrive a day early, you need to ship using the “Standard Overnight” shipping method and select the requested delivery date during checkout.
Does FedEx require a signature for delivery?
Gifts that are sent to businesses require a signature. Gifts being shipped to residential addresses are normally delivered with no signature required.
At the driver’s discretion, he/she will either leave the package in a safe place at the home or leave notice of the delivery attempt with contact information. We assume no responsibility for the packages that are left, although problems are almost unheard of.
We may, at our option, require a signature for deliveries going to major metropolitan residential addresses or other areas where we feel it would be safer to obtain a signature to prove delivery.
Why can’t you ship to an APO/FPO address?
We have considered shipping to APO/FPO addresses but have found that there is no way to track delivery of packages or guarantee arrival of the packages to their intended recipient overseas. You are welcome to have an item ship directly to you and you can forward on to its final destination yourself.
Why is a $10 fee assessed if my package needs an address change?
PLEASE be certain of the shipping address before ordering. Fed Ex makes every attempt possible to get all packages delivered in a timely manner and will attempt on their own to locate a corrected address for a recipient, whether it is a missing apartment or suite number, different zip code or entirely new address.
They usually will not contact us unless they are unable to obtain the correct information on their own or the recipient is not at the intended address. For ANY large or small address correction, Fed Ex will automatically charge us $10 to make this correction. If we find that it was our fault in sending to the wrong address, we will not pass this charge on to you.
How will I know when my gifts have shipped?
Once your order ships, you will receive an email shipping confirmation that contains your FedEx tracking number
Do you deliver to hospital patients?
We recommend that you ship the package to the patient’s home, a family member or a friend who can take it to the hospital. This is for your protection.
If you still wish to ship it to the hospital then you must use 2 Day or Next Day Air so the package is marked as a “priority delivery”. If the patient has been discharged before the delivery, FedEx will have additional charges to re-route the package to another address.
A sales tax of 7.5% is added to all orders shipped to North Carolina addresses. Sales tax is not charged on shipments to gift recipients outside North Carolina.
